Memory Blocking Drugs? Not So Far-Fetched

For those who read RESCUING OLIVIA and wondered about the science, you may find this post about "memory-blocking" drugs, from MSNBC's "The Body Odd" blog, interesting . . . Thanks to one of my newest readers, Kristy Collins, for sending me the link.

Interesting idea. I could definitely see this being useful for PTSD victims. I'm not sure if we should be looking into this type of thing, but I wouldn't mind if it had beneficial applications.

Like so many things, it has the potential to be beneficial but can easily be misused in the wrong hands. My fear is the drug being given to a person without his/her knowledge.

Probably not being very original here, but this is some "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" type shit (pardonnez mon francais, s'il vous plait).

Same general idea, sort of, but a very different story. Very.
